I rig up the plant with bones and connected spline IK to the joints.

Later selected each spline and converting them to hair curves which is a dynamic curve.

In order for the Ik spline to work with dynamics, I connected the hair curve's ( worldspace) to the IK handle (InCurve).

Above shows the results on one branch. Later this branch will be duplicated by exporting it as a rib file.
